What is fear and how to overcome it

Fear acts as a catalyst for change forcing you to act either upon yourself or your surroundings.

If you find yourself seeing your environment as "wrong" and in need of change then it is you who needs healing and not the environment; this is a basic example of allocating what you would call "blame". Those who are unhappy with the world and the society will first need to heal themselves of this fear as this is the only efficient way to confront the "wrong" world and society by merely becoming "better than that".

If you find yourself in need to adapt to your current environment by "overcoming" fears and fixing yourself by seeing "wrong" in your own psyche, then, in most probability, you are in need of change in the environment and not in yourself as you will not be able to heal your fear if you are still fearful.

Basic principle is first stop being fearful and only then begin the healing work which can be performed in forms such as contemplating/praying/meditating, visiting a therapist, "facing" your fear in the environment that is safe; or just simply not being fearful for so long that the particular fear vanishes by itself as it is not receiving any "input" or energy from your surroundings, rendering it not of service to you anymore and therefore without a purpose.

Remember, fellow human. Sometimes there is nothing that needs to be changed about you or your surroundings. Sometimes you may need to simply move on. Nothing is wrong with either you or your environment. You are not living in a "broken" world and your inner being is also not "depressed". You will need to escape your thought pattern that is making the world seem dull or escape the environment which is not in alignment with what you seek and is, therefore, rendering you fearful.
